Species: Kingfish, Hapuka, Pink Maomao, Bass, Bluenose, Terakihi, Granddaddy Hapuka
Target the hard fighting kingfish livebaiting, jigging, stick baiting or drop into the deeper water and target Bluenose, hapuka, bass, terakihi for some fine table fish to take home.
Inshore Trip
1-6 Anglers
Please make up your own groups
Species: Snapper, Gurnard, Kahawai, John Dory, Terakihi and the occasional Kingfish
3 options available: Soft Baiting, Straylining or Ledger Rig Fishing.
This is the perfect trip to enjoy family time with your kids and fresh air whilst giving them the challenge of catching there very own fish.
This trip is available out of Whakatane, it can also be run out of Ohiwa and also Opotiki (depending on tides)
Game Fishing (Waihau Bay or Whakatane)1-4 Anglers

We will fish out of whakatane or waihau bay for a days game fishing targeting marlin and tuna at the right time of year (december to april).
Have 6 Shimano 80w reel and rods and enough lures to sink the boat…we run 2 out riggers and 2 stinger poles along with a teaser!
So come try your luck and see if you can get hooked up with us.
Broadbill Daytime Dropping
1-4 Anglers

Day time Broadbill drifting around White Island dropping baits down to 400+ meters in and around trenches, gullies and banks.
BAIT, ICE, AND TACKLE PROVIDED.
Inshore Trip
$1,750 for 8 hours day (8am – 4pm)
Specialised Rod and Reel Hire is available for an additional $25 per rod & reel or electric reels $40 per rod & reel
